This comes after a successful weekend with a swag of podium finishes.
New Zealand tops the list with 13 medals, the equivalent of 2.87 medals per million. Which is more than double the rate of Australia who sit on 1.42 medals per million. Cape Verde is second on the per capita table and the Netherlands is in third place.
Kiwi athletes have picked up seven gold, three silver, and three bronze medals so far. New Zealand is aiming to win 18 medals, including 12 gold, according to Paralympics NZ.
New Zealand also ranks in at first place on the gold medals per capita table, ahead of Latvia in second and Slovakia in third. New Zealand has won the equivalent of 1.55 gold medals per million population, more than three times the rate of Great Britain on 0.43 gold medals per million.
