Corey Peters will lead the New Zealand Paralympic Winter Games team into the opening ceremony at PyeongChang stadium in South Korea tomorrow night.
As the country's flag was raised in the village, the 10-strong team of three Paralympians - Peters, Carl Murphy and Adam Hall - and seven support staff become the latest additions to an expected global contingent of 670 para-athletes from 45 countries competing across six sports.
New Zealand is chasing a target of two medals.
Peters, a 34-year-old sit-skier from New Plymouth, is ranked 3rd and 8th for super-G sitting and downhill sitting respectively.
He is competing at his second Games after earning a silver as New Zealand's only medallist when debuting at Sochi 2014.
