Praise for All Black Israel Dagg's performance against the French last night are being followed by outrage over a homophobic comment he made on Twitter this morning.
Dagg called Blues player Brendon O'Connor a "fag''.
He has since removed the tweet and written "Wrong choice of word people don't letit ruin ya Sunday, keep smiling.''
A representative from the group Queer Avengers, Sara Fraser, is disgusted.
"Really it's just indicative of the fact that although we now have marriage equality and things on the surface appear to be getting better, in actual fact they're not.''
