New Zealand Olympic sailors Gavin Brady and Jamie Gale are on the way to Sydney after a perfect final rehearsal, winning the North American Star class championships.
Brady and Gale, both America's Cup sailors, led at every mark in the final race of the regatta on Saturday to clean up a top-class fleet dotted with Olympians, including reigning world champions Mark Reynolds and Magnus Lilijedahl, of the United States.
The New Zealand pair, who live in Annapolis in the United States, will finish their preparations on Sydney Harbour before their Olympic Games racing begins on September 23.
