A standout season has earned boardsailor Tom Ashley nomination for next year's Olympic Games in Beijing.
Ashley won a gold medal at the pre-Olympic regatta in China last month and has had several other top finishes this year including wins at the Princess Sofia Regatta, at the Semaine Olympique Francaise and at the South American Championships.
Ashley is the fifth yachtie to be nominated for the Olympics alongside Barbara Kendall, Dan Slater, Jo Aleh and Andrew Murdoch.
