Winter Olympics Day 7: Kiwis in action - All you need to know

Seven gold medals are up for grabs on day seven of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

The women's snowboard cross takes place today after the men's event yesterday.

Keep an eye out for American rider Lindsey Jacobellis who claimed the silver 12 years ago in the event after leading the final and crashed after trying to celebrate her win prematurely with a grab move. She returns for his fourth Games.

The apline skiing features two events - the men's super-G and the women's slalom while medals will be decided in the men's skeleton.

Also in the men's ice hockey both the USA and Olympic Athletes of Russia will be looking to bounce back from opening defeats. America, without their NHL stars, face Slovakia, while the OARs take on Slovenia.

Kiwis in action: When and where to watch

Alice Robinson
• Women's Giant Slalom Run 1, Jeongseon Alpine Centre , from 1.55pm on Sky Channel 58. Potential second run at 3.20pm.

It's been two days of waiting for New Zealand's youngest Winter Olympian with high winds postponing her debut this week.

The Queenstown skier will be competing in her favoured event.

"I am so happy to be given this opportunity and am super-excited to be competing at my first Games so young," Robinson said.

"I don't mind being the youngest; I quite like it because I find it a bit more of a challenge."

Last year, the 16-year-old won the Snow Sport NZ's Breakthrough Season Award.

• Men's Skeleton heats 3 and 4, from 1.25pm on Sky Channel 56.

Through two heats of the skeleton, Thornbury is in eighth overall, 1.58s behind leader Sungbin Yun, and .70 outside the medals. He'll need two strong runs, and possibly some mistakes by his competitors, today to have any chance of a medal.

Thornbury finished the first heat in 50.90 seconds, good enough for eighth place, before going slightly slower (51.03) in the second heat, claiming tenth spot.

The best cumulative times across all four heats decides the medal positions.

New Zealand's youngest Winter Olympian is back on the mountain after finishing 35th out of 81 skiiers in the giant slalom yesterday.

US skiier Mikaela Shiffrin, who claimed gold in the giant slalom, is one again the favourite in this event.

• Men's Super-G final, Jeongseon Alpine Centre, from 3pm

After being rescheduled the men's Super-G final will take place today with 62 athletes competing for gold. Among them are two Kiwis - Barwood and Feasey. It's Barwood's second Olympics but first time he's raced in the Super-G. He was named New Zealand Snow Sports Athlete of the Year in 2017. Feasey was 34th at the world championships, 10 places ahead of Barwood.

• Midnight - women's aerials finals
