Beijing Olympic middle distance runner Nick Willis is to formally receive his silver medal at a special ceremony at the Olympic Museum in Wellington early next year.
Willis, who finished third in 2008 behind Rashid Ramzi and Kenyan Asbel Kiprop, was upgraded to silver after Ramzi later tested positive to a new form of a banned blood booster.
