After months of uncertainty about whether it would even go ahead, the first full week of Olympics action has not disappointed.

By Friday evening, New Zealand had already secured eight medals - including three gold - courtesy of our rowers, All Blacks Sevens, men's doubles tennis pair, and triathlete Hayden Wilde.
