Luxury car maker Jaguar has dropped a sponsorship deal with Australian Olympic gold medallist Stephanie Rice after she posted a homophobic slur on Twitter.
The swimmer posted the controversial tweet "Suck on that f*****s!" after the Wallabies secured a shock win over South Africa on Sunday morning.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports the luxury car maker cut all ties with Rice, as well as confiscating a Jaguar XF from the 22-year-old.
"We made a decision yesterday, and we've terminated the agreement with her," Jaguar Australia's marketing and public affairs manager Mark Eedle told the newspaper.
Rice was given the Jaguar XF, valued at more than $100,000, when she signed a sponsorship agreement with the car maker earlier in the year.
