Princess Anne has had her right royal say against drug cheats and team sports at the Olympics.
The Princess Royal, president of the British Olympic Association, has warned her athletes not to rely on lawyers to rescue them if they are accused of cheating.
"It seems to me a great shame that people will no longer accept that if you take part in a sport then you abide by the rules of that sport," she told the Independent. "If you don't like it or don't like the concept of being drummed out of the sport, then don't do the sport."
She also suggested team sports should be dropped from the Olympic programme.
"I don't think team sports should be part of the games. They are a distortion in terms of numbers," she said.
Britain will front up with their largest team ever, at least 320 athletes. The 10,000 competitor limit placed on Sydney is sure to be broken.
