What's the difference between an Olympian and a Paralympian? About $1087.
That's the price our athletes will pay to be part of the Paralympics in Sydney in October.
While Olympians pay no entry fee and get free board at the Olympic village, the Paralympians have to fork out to use the same housing and venues a fortnight later.
They are raising funds for their 39 athletes through a national raffle and a luncheon in Sydney hosted by the New Zealand team's attache, former Wallaby rugby captain Nick Farr-Jones.
