New Zealand will send a large team to the 11th Special Olympics world summer games in Dublin from June 21-29.
Forty athletes and 20 staff will attend one of the world's biggest sports events this year, involving 7000 athletes, 3000 coaches and 30,000 volunteers from 160 countries.
The New Zealand team will be competing in seven sports, including golf for the first time, swimming, athletics, bocce, equestrian, power lifting and ten-pin bowling.
