Danny Lee is three shots off bronze medal pace in the men's tournament.
He shot up the leaderboard earlier today with a blistering six-under 65. That leaves him five under for the tournament and five shots behind the leader, Australian Marcus Fraser.
Belgium's Thomas Pieters is second, a shot behind Fraser after a five-under 66 while British Open champion Henrik Stenson is third at eight-under.
New Zealand's other representative, Ryan Fox, shot a two-over 73 to slip down the leaderboard to two-over in a tie for 33rd.
ROWING
from 1am
Magnificent Mahe
Mahe Drysdale chases our second gold medal in the rowing at 1.32am.
A successful defence of his Olympic single sculls crown will elevate the likeable Drysdale to sporting legend status.
Emma chases gold
Emma Twigg's showdown with Australian world champion Kim Brennan is tipped to be one of the highlights of the Rio regatta. The pair are set to fight out the gold medal at 1.45am.
Eight will be enough
It's been 32 years since a NZ men's eight rowed at the OIympics. We are there again. But in a huge bonus, so too is our women's eights team - competing at an Olympics for the first time.
The crew includes silver medallists Rebecca Scown and Genevieve Behrent as well as Ruby Tew, daughter of NZ Rugby boss Steve. The women go at 2.06am, the men at 2.27am.
SAILING
from 4am
Sailing away
Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have a busy few hours ahead with four races planned for overnight.
The pair cleaned up the opening two races of the men's 49ers class earlier today and will look to turn the screw even further.
It's a rest day for Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie. It's a crunch day for Sam Meech in the Laser. He sits sixth and overnight are the final two races before the medal race on Tuesday.
TRAMPOLINE
from 4.05am and 5.30am
Dylan on the bounce
Natalie Rooney and Luuka Jones surprised with unexpected medal performances at this Rio Games. And keen judges say that if there's another previously unheralded athlete who could surprise in these Olympics, it is Dylan Schmidt. He finished 15th at the 2014 World Championships and followed that with a top 10 finish last year. More tellingly, he was on the podium again in 2016 with a silver medal at the Olympic Test Event.
