A tennis commentator at the Rio Olympics has apologised after being accused of homophobia.
Paul Hand was commentating for the BBC on the third-round match between Britain's Johanna Konta and Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova when he implied that "two blokes" wouldn't want to kiss.
During a break in the game the camera panned to spectators in the crowd, including a a man and a woman who kissed when they saw themselves on the big screen.
"Come on, let's have a kiss," Hand said, before adding "Let's hope they don't go onto two blokes sat next to each other".
The BBC issued a statement in reaction to the comments, which the broadcaster said were "ill-judged".
