Olivia Powrie and Jo Aleh lead the women's 470 class after the completion of four races at the London Olympics.
After finishes of second and sixth on Saturday, the team posted another second-placing and a fifth placing to lead the catagory at this early stage.
Elsewhere, Andrew Murdoch in the men's Finn class posted two third-place finishes in his final two regulation races to give himself an outside shot at a bronze in the medal race.
JP Tobin continued to struggle in representing New Zealand's hopes of a final wind-surfing medal before the sport is discontinued from the Olympics. Tobin had finishes of 12th and sixth and, despite sitting in fifth place overall, is out of touch with the medal placings with just two races left to run.
The men's 470 team of Jason Saunders and Paul Snow-Hansen moved into third place overall in their catagory with finishes of 16th and third while Sara Winther's rocky Olympic campaign came to an end with a ninth placing and a disqualification - she finished the Laser Radial class in 20th place.
