Athletics:
50km walker Quentin Rew has had to wait until the penultimate day in London to make his Olympics debut. He finished 24th at the world championships in Daegu last year and is not expected to be in the medals. The race, which begins at 8pm, consists of 25 laps on a 2km course up and down the Mall and includes 50 visits past the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
Tomorrow morning Stuart Farquhar will compete in the men's javelin final from 6.20am. He qualified with the sixth best throw but goes into the final with the second ranked season's best of the 12 competitors.
Also in the main stadium, Great Britain's Mo Farah races in the 5000m final as he goes for the 5k-10k double. Usain Bolt eyes his sixth gold in the 4x100m relay while medals will be decided in the women's 4x400m relay, women's high jump and women's 800m.
