Kiwis in action - See when our athletes compete
Canoe sprint:
Day two of the canoe sprint action sees three New Zealand women on the water. Teneale Hatton races in the K1 500m at 9.07pm. She won the C Final at last year's world championships (ranking her 19th in the world). While Lisa Carrington and Erin Taylor will line up in the K2 500m at 9.49pm. They finished ninth in that event at last year's world championships.
Track cycling:
Simon van Velthooven takes part in the men's Keirin from 9pm in a strong field which includes defending champion and five time Olympic gold medallist Sir Chris Hoy. Van Velthooven made the final at this year's world championships in April but was relegated in the race so finished last. The second round is at 3.34am with the final taking place at 4.57am. Joanne Kiesanowski continues the women's Omnium where she is 11th heading into day two.
Triathlon:
Bevan Docherty will attempt to complete his set of Olympic medals when the men's triathlon begins at 10.30pm. Docherty won silver in 2004 and bronze four years ago but faces a tall order in finishing ahead of hometown favourites Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee. Kris Gemmell and Ryan Sissons will also lineup in New Zealand colours.
