New Zealand swimmer Glenn Snyders missed out on reaching the 200m breaststroke final after finishing seventh in his semifinal this morning.
Earlier Snyders broke his own national record to qualify tenth fastest for the breaststroke semifs.
Snyders clocked a time of 2:10.55 to finish fourth in his heat.
The only other swim in the morning session for New Zealand came in the 4x200m freestyle relay in which the team of Dylan Dunlop-Barrett, Steven Kent, Andy McMillan and Matthew Stanley finished a disappointing eighth in their heat to miss out on a spot in the final.
