South Korea will parole former International Olympic Committee vice-president Kim Un-yong this week, a year after he was found guilty of corruption.
Long one of the most powerful figures in the Olympic movement, Kim was sentenced last June to two years in prison for embezzling 3.3 billion won ($4.68 million) and accepting 788 million won in kickbacks while serving as the head of international sports organisations.
