New Zealand K1 slalom kayaker Luuka Jones has slipped into the semifinals of her event by the slimmest of margins.
Jones posted the best of her two runs on her first attempt, a score of 109.23, and it proved to be just enough for her to progress - the top 15 runs qualify for the semi and she finished 15th.
The semifinal race will be held on Friday morning (NZ time).
