Olympics: Herald team limbers up to deliver the goods on Games

The Herald's Olympic team of David Leggat, Eugene Bingham and photographer Mark Mitchell have arrived in Athens.

The trio have begun their build-up to the Games and will continue to provide daily coverage in the lead-up to the opening ceremony on Friday (Saturday morning NZ time).

Extensive coverage will be published in Friday's SuperSPORT, by which time most of the 151-strong New Zealand team will be in the Games village.

Once competition begins our team will share their stories of the winners and losers, and go behind the scenes to give extensive coverage of the Games, which end with the closing ceremony on August 30.
