The irrepressible Kathy Watt is doing it again - heading back to court to get a ride at another Olympics.
The controversial Aussie cyclist, the world's No 2 women's pursuiter, was yesterday left out of the Australian track team for Sydney - a repeat of four years ago.
So she has once again appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, to re-fight her battle of 1996 - a battle she won to claim a ride in Atlanta.
The 1992 Olympic road gold medallist, now 35, is apparently devastated that she has been dumped again, selectors choosing young rider Alayna Burns, who has ridden a faster time than Watt this year.
Watt must have had an inkling that she would be ditched, and looked across the ditch for help.
Even after she had won the Australian national title in March, she investigated whether she could try out for the New Zealand team, but was turned away.
