No news is good news for the New Zealand Olympic Committee.
It hasn't been notified by the IOC that any New Zealand athletes are among the 31 alleged-dopers from 12 nations facing bans from the Rio Olympics, after samples from the Beijing Games were re-tested.
An NZOC spokesperson says they're confident no New Zealand athletes have been implicated and would expect to have heard by now.
The Guardian reports power and endurance athletes will make up the bulk of the 31 athletes, with many of those being Russian.
The IOC has stated any athletes who could be promoted to a medal position because of the disqualification of others will also be retested.
