The New Zealand men's team pursuit cyclists are the second fastest qualifiers for this evening's quarter-finals at the Olympic velodrome.
The team of Sam Bewley, Jesse Sergent, Westley Gough and Marc Ryan have broken the four minute barrier for the first time, setting a mark of three minutes, 59.27 seconds.
The crack Great Britain team set the fastest time, just over two seconds faster. Australia came third with Denmark fourth. The quarter finals begin at 10.15pm (NZ time).
