US broadcasters NBC want the finals of the swimming competitions at the 2008 Beijing Olympics to be switched to the morning.
A report on website swimnews.com claims NBC want to make the switch to better suit North American television audiences.
NBC owns the exclusive US media rights to the Games, having paid $US3.55 billion ($5.67 billion) to cover the Games from 2000-2008.
