Another athlete is appealing her non-selection for the Rio Olympics.
Weightlifter Andrea Miller is taking her case to the Sports Tribunal after being overlooked in favour of Tracey Lambrechs.
Miller and Weightlifting New Zealand have taken the first steps of a mediation process, but the case will go to the Sports Tribunal next week.
Miller is a former hurdler, who won bronze in 100 metre hurdles at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, before transitioning to weightlifting where she holds several New Zealand records at the under 63 and under 69 kg levels.
Competing in the women's under 69 kg field, Miller finished 33rd in the snatch event and 35th in the clean and jerk at the 2015 World Weightlifting Championships.
