New Zealand have drawn the same pool as defending women's hockey champions Germany but have avoided big guns Australia and the Netherlands at the Beijing Olympic Games.
Yesterday's draw pits the seventh-ranked New Zealanders alongside world No 2 Argentina, Germany (third), Japan (sixth), Great Britain (10th) and the US (11th).
The other pool comprises world No 1 the Netherlands, Australia, China, Spain, South Korea and South Africa.
