KEY POINTS:
New Zealand beat Spain 3-0 overnight to finish third in a Four Nations women's hockey tournament in China.
The Black Sticks led 2-0 at halftime in Beijing before securing their second win of the tournament.
They had earlier beaten Spain by the same scoreline either side of a 1-1 draw with China and a 1-2 loss to Japan.
Their latest match was delayed due to thunder and lightning but once it started New Zealand had the upperhand, with goals coming from Niniwa Roberts, Caryn Paewai and Lizzy Igasan.
The Black Sticks return home tomorrow ahead of the announcement next week of the team to compete at the Olympic Games in Beijing in August.
