A second legal challenge by dressage rider Catherine Smallbone against being left out of the Sydney Olympics has failed.
New Zealand Equestrian Federation chief executive officer Larry Graham confirmed the appeal was rejected after an eight-hour tribunal hearing in Wellington.
Smallbone challenged the decision not to name her as reserve, claiming she and her mount Alzac had met the selection criteria.
