Equestrian: Olympic shame for Ireland

The International Equestrian Federation has stripped Irish showjumper Cian O'Connor of the gold medal he won riding Waterford Crystal at last year's Athens Olympics.

Following a hearing in Zurich, the federation's judicial committee said there had been a breach of regulations "relating to the presence of the prohibited substances of fluphenazine and zuclopenthixol in the horse".
