New Zealand 10,000m runner Zane Robertson is the latest Kiwi Olympian to lash out at the International Olympic Committee over its decision not to ban Russia from the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Robertson, who in the past had said clean athletes needed to speak up and be heard, criticised the IOC for its handling of the situation and declared "drugs will be in Rio".
The IOC made a decision early Monday morning not to give a blanket ban on Russian athletes despite a damning report that revealed state-sponsored doping systems for a number of years.
Instead, the IOC handed the responsibility over to the individual sporting federations to enforce their own decision.
The International Asssociation of Athletics Foundations (IAAF) has already decided to ban Russian athletes from competing in track and field events, a decision backed up by the Court of Arbitration for Sport following a Russian appeal.
