New Zealand track cycling medal hope Sarah Ulmer is still outgunning the world's top road riders, winning the first two stages of the latest US pro tour in Pennsylvania.
The Kiwi track star won the prologue and the first stage of the six-day Tour de Toona yesterday.
She beat Canadian Olympian and Commonwealth Games road gold medallist Lyne Bessette on the circuit stage, to take a 7s lead over Australian Olympic road rider Tracey Gaudry.
Ulmer will miss the next stop on the World Cup track circuit, in Malaysia next week, to finish her season with professional team Elita.
