The New Zealand men's bowls team remain in medal contention after victory in both the singles and fours at the world championships in Ayr, Scotland, today (NZ time).
Despite losing in the morning session 19-21, Russell Meyer bounced back to beat South Africa's Donny Piketh 21-17 in the afternoon session.
The four under skip Gary Lawson gained revenge for a qualifying pool defeat at the hands of Canada earlier in the week, winning 19-15 today, then played their best match of the competition so far beating Scotland 27-15.
The fours jointly lead their pool with Ireland with three wins each.
They face a tough final day tomorrow with South Africa in the morning round, and either Brazil of Ireland in the final.
