Olympic champion Bruce Kendall is bound for his fifth Games, no longer on a board, but facing one of his toughest challenges yet.
The 1984 boardsailing gold medallist is a paid coach of the Indonesian boardsailing team of one, a talented sailor named Oka Sulukasana.
Sulukasana is a father of two and the only member of his family to have ever left their village in Bali. He finished 13th at the last Olympics, but could have done much better, Kendall reckons.
Trouble was, he does not understand much English and he has never learned the sailing rules. It is Kendall's job to teach him both.
