The Olympic Games qualifying hopes of the New Zealand men's basketball team will go on the line at Athens next year.
International governing body FIBA yesterday announced the Greek capital as the venue for the 12-team repechage tournament from July 14-20 for teams seeking last-ditch berths at the Beijing Olympic Games the following month.
The draw is in Athens on January 31.
