Shane Reed has qualified New Zealand a third place in the men's triathlon at the Beijing Olympics.
Reed has won the Oceania championships in Wellington, ahead of Olympic silver medalist Bevan Docherty and Australian James Sear.
It was an Australian one-two in the women's race, with Emma Moffat edging compatriot Annabel Luxford. Nicky Samuels finished third, running down fellow New Zealander Andrea Hewitt just before the finish line.
