Hamilton Boys High School (HBHS) first 15 have won the world secondary schools rugby tournament in Japan after beating England's Truro College 40-8 in the final last night.
HBHS are the third New Zealand school to win the event after Rotorua Boys High School clinched back-to-back titles in 2003-04 followed by Christchurch Boys High School's double in 2005-06.
The Waikato school beat Australia's top school Hills Sports HS 18-0 to reach the final, while Truro College defeated African champions Marais Viljoen HS in the other semifinal.
