Projected cut is at four-under, which means Kiwi favourites Steve Alker and Michael Hendry as well as young gun Kazuma Kobori look set to miss the weekend action.

- Overnight co-leader Scott Hend has a two-shot solo lead.

- Kiwi Josh Geary was on fire with seven birdies to leap into T2.

- Equally as hot was fellow Kiwi Dan Hillier, who birdied his final four holes to join Geary at T2.

- Queenstown local Ben Campbell has finished at eight-under and is T12.

- Kiwi amateur Zack Swanwick is right amongst the pack and is at seven-under to sit T22.
