NFL picks: Week 7 - Broncos out to teach Brock a lesson

Into Week 7 and a couple of tough matches to call...and a couple of games that I can see going pretty easily to the TAB underdog!

Let's start with today's game...

Bears ($3.70) at Packers ($1.25) (Live on Duke TV 1:30pm 21st Oct)
Marc's pick: Packers 23, Bears 20. The Bears have been going OK for a terrible team! Kiwi Paul Lasike got a carry last week for 1 yard. Be warned though...even though a win in Green Bay seems distant for the Bears, the Packers will be without their two first choice running backs and three top corner backs. I still think the Packers run D and Aaron Rodgers does enough to win!

Giants($1.65) at Rams ($2.15) (Game being played in London)
Marc's pick: Rams 27, Giants 24. I'm going Rams purely on the travel factor. It feels like it doesn't take much to rattle the Giants and the Rams will feel like they have been playing all season on the road with the players still trying to settle in LA.

Saints ($3.00) at Chiefs ($1.35)
Marc's pick: Chiefs 23, Saints 20. I'm so tempted to have a dabble on the ever-improving Saints and $3 seems disrespectful to such a dangerous team! Chiefs at home should win though.

Colts ($2.35) at Titans ($1.55)
Marc's pick: Colts 28, Titans 27. So it's about now that the Colts decide it's time to take the division chase seriously! It's about now that they blow your multi in a game they probably shouldn't win. Typical Luck, typical Colts!

Vikings ($1.65) at Eagles ($2.15)
Marc's pick: Vikings 23, Eagles 17. Sam Bradford marches back into Philadelphia with his new unbeaten Vikings! He walks out unbeaten in a close one!

Browns ($4.50) at Bengals($1.18)
Marc's pick: Bengals 13, Browns 7. Divisional rivals so it will be closer than the odds suggest. Hue Jackson still fails to find that first win of the season!

Redskins ($2.00) at Lions ($1.75)
Marc's pick: Lions 27, Washington 27. I don't trust the Lions to win this. My problem is I don't trust the Redskins to win! Going the draw! (Or the home team.)

Raiders ($1.95) at Jaguars ($1.80)
Marc's pick: Raiders 17, Jaguars 15. I was all in on the Raiders this season but my confidence has been broken twice, so I'm wary of an improving Jaguars squad playing in front of the Jacksonville faithful! I'm going to give the Raiders the win in a very close one.

Bills ($1.65) at Dolphins ($2.15)
Marc's pick: Dolphins 30, Bills 17. Warning: Le'Sean McCoy is out! The Bills struggle without his shifty play back there. The Dolphins on the other hand found a way to destroy the Steelers last week. I'm taking them at home.

Ravens ($2.05) at Jets ($1.70) (Live on Duke TV 6am 24th October)
Marc's pick: Ravens 24, Jets 17. Um, just quietly, get on this bet...real quick! Double your money on the TAB! Geno Smith is starting for the Jets...yuck! They were terrible last week offensively and Geno won't provide much help. Joe Flacco, the Ravens QB, hasn't trained all week and if he can't go then Ryan Mallet has to step up, but still, you would back the Ravens defence against anything the Jets can muster! (Don't tell anyone...but here's this week's money maker.)

Buccaneers ($1.72) at 49ers ($2.02)
Marc's pick: 49ers 23, Buccaneers 17. There you go 49er fans! Kap gets his first win of the season! It's really hard to get a win in San Fran, I don't think the Bucs have the tools to do it.

Chargers ($3.00) at Falcons ($1.35)
Marc's pick: Falcons 37, Chargers 33. The Falcons are flying high and winning with the run, pass and defence in sync. The Chargers just can't quite keep up this week!

Patriots ($1.30) at Steelers ($3.30)
Marc's pick: Patriots 28, Steelers 13. No Big Ben, no Steelers win! The Patriots will hound this Steelers defence till it tears and breaks. Such a disappointment. This game was supposed to be the AFC title game dress rehearsal! Alas, Landry Jones is going to be asked to win against Tom Brady's Patriots. We all know that's not happening!

Seahawks ($2.00) at Cardinals ($1.75) (Live on Duke TV 1:30pm 24th Oct)
Marc's pick: Cardinals 27, Seahawks 26. I can honestly say I don't know who wins this match! NFC West gets a rocket if the Cardinals can do the Seahawks at home. So I'm going to pick Carson and crew to get it done!

Texans ($3.70) at Broncos ($1.25)
Marc's pick: Broncos 33, Texans 10. Broncos teach Brock Osweiler a lesson on being a good teammate! Von Miller gets a number of sacks on his "old mate" and the universe is restored!
