Kiwi Paul Lasike's quest to crack the NFL received a major boost today after catching a touchdown pass in a pre-season game for the Arizona Cardinals.
Lasike, who earlier in the week survived a round of roster cuts, caught a four-yard touchdown pass from Phillip Sims in the second quarter of the Cardinals' 22-20 win over the Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium in Colorado.
Lasike showed great hands to snag the pass in the end zone, with the Cardinals' Twitter feed praising the Kiwi's catch.
Having lined up largely at fullback throughout the pre-season, Lasike on Tuesday remained on the Arizona roster as it was reduced from 90 players to 75, keeping alive his NFL dream.
