The All Blacks Sevens have bounced back from a humiliating semi-final loss to take third at the Dubai IRB Sevens event.

After downing Argentina 26-19 in the quarter finals, New Zealand was demolished 44-nil by Fiji in the semi-finals.

However, a late Tim Mikkelson try secured a 17-14 victory over England in the third placed playoff.

South Africa and Fiji are playing off in the cup final.
