New Zealand beat Australia again: Which is the more thrilling win?

It seems when it comes to transtasman clashes the latest trend is New Zealand winning in a thriller.

The Black Caps one-wicket victory over Australia in Saturday's Cricket World Cup pool match is just the latest roller-coaster ride between the two sporting nations.

The All Blacks' last victory over Australia was also a thriller with New Zealand stealing a win in the final play of the test at Suncorp Stadium thanks to a Malakai Fekitoa try and a Colin Slade conversion. Final result - All Blacks 29 Australia 28.

Just a few weeks later the Kiwis pulled off a stunner against Aussie rivals the Kangaroos in the Four Nations final in Wellington. But as the Aussies will tell you - they were robbed. The Kangaroos were denied a try in the final seconds when English referee Phil Bentham ruled a forward pass from Dylan Walker to Sione Mata'utia.

The 22-18 victory was the Kiwis' first win against Australia on home soil since 2003 and only the second time they have won consecutive tests against the Kangaroos in 60 years.

And then Saturday's encounter with Australia getting back in the match thanks to Mitchell Starc ripping through the New Zealand lower order leaving the Black Caps needing six runs to win with one wicket to spare.
