Fiji fans are optimistic heading into tonight's game against Jamaica.
Seini Smith said her side will make the Jamaicans work hard for their goals.
"Our defence line is really good, really strong," she said.
"We've got a tall shooter and a lot of experience with (Vilimaina) Davu."
One player the Sunshine Girlz will have to look out for is centre Talei Bari.
Bari was a stand out for the Melbourne Phoenix in Australia's Commonwealth Bank Trophy and her aunty, Latu Damu, says it runs in the family.
Damu, who is in Auckland supporting Fiji during the Championships, said two of Bari's cousins represented Fiji at the 1991 Rugby World Cup.
Damu said Fiji has a strong side and she is looking forward to their game against Jamaica tonight.

The Silver Ferns are two from two at the Netball World Championships.
Ferns coach Ruth Aitken made full use of her bench as the home side destroyed Wales 86-24.
Meanwhile, England just missed out on topping the three-figure mark in their match today. They beat Malaysia 99-16.

Welsh-Kiwi couple Geraint and Jo Owen have brought their son along to the netball but are feeling a bit outnumbered.
Caian, 3, with a Welsh flag draped over his shoulders, is described by his father as a "Weki".
It's Caian's first live netball match and his Kiwi mum Jo doesn't mind him supporting the underdog.
"We're not expecting much from the game but we wanted to offer the girls a bit of support," she said.

It's been a busy day for the tournament's executive chef.
Nevin, or "chip boy" as he's started to call himself, said he has had to order in 600kg of chips to cope with the overwhelming demand.
"Sushi and the chips have been massive sellers. The weather has really turned it on," he said.
Nevin compared the event to a cricket international where there is a constant demand for food and refreshments.
"There's 5000 people a day and all want something to drink, it's just massive," he said.
"I've had to double an order for fruit salad, doubled it again, double it again and now I've got to double it again."

In what is a wonderful day in Auckland hundreds of fans are pouring into the Waitakere Trusts stadium just prior to the Silver Ferns game against Wales.
The Thundersticks are getting are good working out even before the opening whistle has gone and a large whooping cheer went up as the home teamwarmed-up.

South Africa have just recorded their second consecutive win of the tournament, beating Barbados 56-36, and Malawi have scored their first win after beating Botswana 44-32.

Speaking after her team's nail-biting 45-43 win over Singapre, Cook Islands captain Retua Petero said the game against Singapore was a close one but the team has got an even tougher one tomorrow against Fiji.
"It was quite physical, quite fast but fortunately we were able to pull it together," Petero said.
Cook Islands lost to Jamaica yesterday and will have to beat Fiji to have any chance of making the top eight.
Petero said fans and friends have made the trip over to support the team and the Cooks' players have enjoyed a lot of support in New Zealand.
The skipper added that with the quick turn around the team is heading back to the hotel to rest up for Fiji tomorrow.

The first two games of the day have just finished with the Cook Islands edging out Singapore in a tight battle 45-43, while Samoa comfortably disposed of Scotland 60-39.
South Africa v Barbados and Malawi v Botswana are next up at 2.10pm, the Silver Ferns take on Wales and England go up against Malaysia at 4.10pm, Australia and Trinidad & Tobago go at it at 6.10pm, while Jamaica and Fiji round off the night at 8.10pm.
