Central Pulse coach Robyn Broughton has added another Silver Fern to the trans-Tasman netball league team's roster.
Versatile defender Joline Henry, who has amassed over 60 caps for New Zealand since her 2004 debut, will line up for the Pulse next year, joining three other Silver Ferns at the Wellington-based franchise.
Broughton said she was very happy with the way the Pulse's roster was shaping up.
"Things are starting to look really good - Joline has a lot to offer to the team," she told NZPA today. "She's got good experience, she's ready to help the younger ones - she's going to be a real asset."
Henry began her trans-Tasman career with the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic in 2008, moving to the Auckland-based Northern Mystics in 2010 after two seasons.
She joins New Zealand teammates Katrina Grant, Millie Lees and Paula Griffin at the Pulse, giving the franchise a nice spread of experience through the court.
Grant captains the team from the defensive end, Lees provides the midcourt drive and goal attack Griffin - back after a season with the Southern Steel - a perfect foil for Australian shooter Caitlin Thwaites.
Fringe international Te Huinga Selby-Rickit, a promising young defender, has followed Broughton to Wellington after the former Southern Steel coach made the move at the end of May.
