Pulse wing-attack Liana Leota has withdrawn from the Silver Ferns trials taking place this week in Auckland, preferring to remain in England with her young family for the duration of the international netball season.
The 28-year-old mother-of-two has played 30 tests since making her Silver Ferns debut in 2008 but has made herself unavailable for selection in 2013.
As many as 24 players have been invited to trial for positions in the Silver Ferns for September's Constellation Cup series against Australia, as well as national accelerant squads.
