New Zealand encountered limited resistance when maintaining an unblemished record at the world youth netball championship in Florida yesterday (NZ time).
The New Zealand under-21 team barely raised a sweat in beating Antigua and Bermuda 86-20, their third win of the championship.
The mismatch was evident from the first quarter when New Zealand led 21-6.
That ballooned to 51-10 at halftime as New Zealand coach Te Aroha Keenan rotated her team each quarter, giving every player some court time.
Goal shoot Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit played three quarters of the game, landing 41 goals from 47 attempts for a 87 per cent success rate, while goal attack Maria Tutaia shot 19 from 22 at 86 per cent.
New Zealand end the preliminary round today when they play Wales, the only other unbeaten team in their pool.
