Force coach Yvonne Willering says her team must go into tomorrow's match against the Sting confident in their own ability.
The Force's semifinal hopes were dented last weekend following their surprise loss to the Diamonds.
With defending champions the Magic to tackle in the final round - a loss to the Sting tomorrow would jeopardise their top-four hopes.
"We have put ourselves in this position," Willering said.
"I think while everyone appreciates the Diamonds played well last weekend, we really fell short both on attack and defence. We have to correct that this weekend."
Willering said her team's main downfall last weekend was their lack of cohesion.
"They were focusing more on themselves rather than working within the team structure. They really worked in isolation of one another.
"We became very hesitant. We have really got to play the ball into the spaces and have confidence in one another."
The frustrating thing for Willering is knowing that if her team are on their game they can beat anyone in the competition.
They have plenty of experience throughout the court but often suffer from inconsistency, especially in the shooting circle.
A less than perfect performance from the Force is going to see the clinical Sting run over the top of them.
There will also be a lot of interest tomorrow in whether the Diamonds can back up last week's performance when they face the Shakers.
The Diamonds exploited the Force's lack of through-court defence but aren't expected to have such a free rein this weekend against the Shakers, whose defence is one of their strong points.
Provided the Diamonds shooters perform accurately it is hard to see the Shakers getting the better of them.
