Silver Ferns coach Yvonne Willering is bitterly disappointed at speculation that four members of the New Zealand team do not want her in the job.
TVNZ claimed four South Island players were campaigning to have Willering replaced by former Silver Ferns captain Wai Taumaunu before November's tour of South Africa.
Willering says she has not been approached by any players, but what she is hearing through the media is very unsettling.
She says she really believes in team unity and it is disappointing as it sounds like that is not there.
Willering says she has not yet decided whether or not she will coach the Silver Ferns on the South African tour.
However, Netball New Zealand boss Shelley McMeeken rubbished the claims of a player revolt.
McMeeken says they are currently reviewing the role of Willering, but it is a process that they undertake regularly.
The players they have talked to are shocked at the thought of the revolt, she says.
