A stunning fourth quarter onslaught has seen the Central Pulse stretch their ANZ Premiership winning streak to double digits.
Down 32-30 to the Northern Stars going into the final quarter, it looked as if the Pulse could be in for their first loss of the 2020 season, but a superb 16-4 final quarter saw Pulse pull away to claim an eventually comfortable 46-36 victory, and move to 10-0.
With five games remaining in their regular season, the Pulse can lock in a finals spot within the next week, if other results go their way, while the Stars showed they are worthy contenders to meet the Pulse in that final, but still sit three points behind the Mainland Tactix and four behind the Northern Mystics, who have a game in hand, in the race for second place.
Here's how the goal-by-goal action unfolded.
