Netball: Sting go through in National Bank Cup

The second semi final in National Bank Netball Cup has gone to the Sting.

They beat the Diamonds 52-48 in a last-gasp win.

At the end of the second quarter the Diamonds had been ahead 27-24.

The Sting now take on the Force, and they will battle it out for a place in the final in a two weeks time against the Magic.

Southern Sting 52 (Tania Dalton 26/34, Donna Loffhagen 26/29)
Diamonds 48 (Jodi Te Huna 34/38, Jo Morrison 14/19).


1st quarter: 14-13, 2nd: 24-27, 3rd: 38-37, 4th: 52-48.
